ME Design - 2019
About the project:
In this project, there were two parts, this part, and the website design part (which can be found on the website design page). In this part of the project brief, we were required to develop our own business branding, identity, and business and marketing plan. We needed to design and create, a final logo, corporate colours, corporate type, and a style guide. We were to follow a mock business plan to create our own business and marketing plan, and we needed to create self-promotional materials like; business cards, social media pages, and a web advert.
For my collateral, I designed a mandala flower for detail on the stationery, advert, and for on social media pages. I used Adobe Illustrator to edit the letters for my logo to create the distinct ME, and I stuck with black and white for my first branding and identity for ME Design.

About the rebrand:
For the 2020 rebrand, I kept with the mandala flower but redrew it because I wasn’t completely happy with the original. I changed my colours to add in a secondary colour, red, and I changed my typography to be slicker and thinner. In this rebrand I also changed the logo, I stayed with the ME but changed the font that they came from. I chose the red secondary colour, to add a bit of eye-catching grab into my branding and website, but soon got rid of it in the 2021 update.
ME Design - 2021
About the rebrand:
For the 2021 rebrand, I changed a lot. I kept the 2020 logo but fixed it ever so slightly. I changed the colours and the type. And most importantly I updated and changed the website. I changed the colours to be softer on the eye, and more of how I want the business to feel now, which isn’t the harshness of the red and black.
I have gradually changed the look of the brand over the past 3 years because as I grew into an adult, I changed and I felt the brand needs to change with me if I were to want to keep it going, which I do.
